Lab.Club was born in London with a simple idea: electronic music deserves a space that feels grassroots, inclusive, and special. We’re not about big stages or VIP ropes — we’re about community, connection, and giving emerging talent the platform they deserve.

From late-night conversations to warehouse beginnings, Lab.Club is built by people who care deeply about the culture: the DJs, the dancers, and the spaces that bring them together.

Our Mission

We believe electronic music should be:

• Grassroots-driven → supporting upcoming DJs and producers.

• Inclusive and transparent → safer spaces for everyone on the dancefloor.

• Special → every event should feel like more than just a night out.

Meet the Team

Ben McCarthy — Co-Founder
A media entrepreneur with a lifelong love of electronic dance music, Ben has a passion for speaking about issues with the business of club culture.

Arthur Steinbӧck — Co-Founder

Arthur is a seasoned corporate executive with a wild side, as happy watching an opera at Glyndebourne as he is in a forest rave at 5am. 

Ilie Ghiciuc — Co-Founder

Ilie is a serial entrepreneur and founder of Thinslices, who discovered his love for raving in his 40s and is now an addict. 

Stefan Sarbu — Co-Founder
Stefan is the CEO of Thinslices. His love for electronic music has taken him around the world from Ibiza and Croatia to Albania and the Netherlands.

Tom tells the story of Lab.Club. From highlighting new DJs to capturing the energy of our events, he shapes how the world sees and feels our community.
