4 Underground Sounds

Electronic music and its sub-genres are more diverse than ever. There is a constant ebb and flow of new sounds, combining genres and reviving them from decades past.

Here are 4 sounds that are popping off in 2025, with some DJs you need to get on board with…

Eurodance/Trance - These ‘90s sounds have had a massive revival in recent years. What may have sounded cheesy in the 2000s is now dominating dance floors and packing out clubs.

Hard House/Groove - Another genre that blends elements of house, techno, and eurodance is Hard House & Groove.

Minimal House - One of the biggest sounds of the summer. Minimal House producers are creating a new take on house music that is sometimes rightly described as “Space House”.

Speed Garage - A UK sound that was created in the mid-90s, is now dominating the rave scene on a global scale. Bass-heavy, wobbly vibes are exactly what the doctor ordered.
