Hello London,

We’re throwing a bass-heavy, spooky Halloween session at Lab.Club on Friday 30th October, featuring some proper gems from London’s underground bass scene. Mark your calendar… more details will follow very soon.

This week’s raves are leaning heavily into bass, so prepare accordingly.

On Thursday, we’ve partnered with London label Refractions to bring Skope, Azaleh, Kori and more for a night of dubstep and bass. We’re very excited about this line-up, so grab your tickets here.

Friday is basically a choose-your-own-bass adventure. For footwork, head to 160 Unity at Number 90. For global club sounds with immersive, cinematic production, Sensorial is the place to be. If you want acid-laced and housier sounds, head to Pherotone, where Mx Blair is playing an extended vinyl set.

My main Saturday pick is Goodness at FOLD, headlined by John Talabot. Since 2017, they’ve consistently brought together cutting-edge electronic artists, from established names to proper hidden gems. If you like artists who push things forward, this is the kind of night where you’ll leave with three new favourites. Elsewhere, Distant Planet is throwing a hardcore and jungle rave at M.O.T., while Indira Paganotto is headlining The Cause if you prefer trance-heavy techno.

On Sunday, Craig Richards, Ricardo Villalobos, and a long list of amazing artists will be taking over the decks at fabric for its 27th birthday. Technically, it starts on Saturday, but most of the action lands on Sunday, so grab a pre-10am ticket if you want to get in cheaper.

See you on the dancefloor,
Afaan
