Drumsheds Gets a Revamp & Top Raves in June

With the issues troubling Drumsheds this year, they are making some major improvements to the old IKEA warehouse...

Drumsheds Gets a Reboot

Drumsheds, the 15,000-capacity superclub occupying the former IKEA in Tottenham, has had a rough few months, with two drug-related deaths and serious queueing and security issues late last year, followed by a battle to retain its operating license that was touch and go.

To improve the overall experience, the venue is doubling its queuing capacity, increasing search lanes, and relocating ticket scanning to improve entry and exit flow. Additionally, the former VIP area will be opened to all attendees as a "decompression area" to provide space for rest and recovery.

Drumsheds is also enhancing sound quality with acoustic draping and extra subwoofers, upgrading toilet facilities, and expanding its food and drink options, including the introduction of "Low & No Bars" offering non-alcoholic beverages. Drumsheds was always conceived as a temporary space by promoter Broadwick Live until the revamp of Printworks is complete in around two years. Here’s hoping these new changes get Drumsheds back into the good graces of London’s ravers.
