Hello London,

I’ve barely recovered from a 24-hour party at FOLD and already the bank holiday is upon us. I covered the bigger summer festivals in a recent article, so I’m leaving them out of this week’s recommendations. Instead, I’ve pulled together a list of official and unofficial afterparties worth your time. You’ll find them at the end.

On Thursday, Not Bad For A Girl will host a panel on male allyship in music at Defected’s The Basement, with Daniel Avery among the speakers. If you want something free and more chaotic, head to UNLOCKED for their infamous toilet-rave pop-up with Badger.

On Friday, Sensorial Collective return to Hackney Bridge with immersive production, bespoke visuals and a headline set from Farsight. If you need bass therapy, FWD>> at FOLD has Martyn, re:ni & more, for left-leaning dubstep. If minimal, tech and acid is more your vibe, take your pick between John Tejada at Club Cheek or Thomas Melchior at a secret location (The Goose).

On Saturday, Algha’s Plantroom, a women-run queer venue, hosts a fundraiser to help keep the space open. House legends, Masters at Work land at Ministry of Sound, while Gaffe are throwing a day-to-night session with installations, food and a seriously strong lineup including Cabanne, Adi and Que Sakamoto. With the weather set to be scorching, that one feels like a very good idea. If you’d rather cool off, Brama’s closing party with Hamish & Toby at Number 90 is where you should be.

On Sunday, head to LDN East for an open-air rave with Raresh headlining for Home, or go next door to UNFOLD for an absolutely mental 34-hour edition. If you want something more wholesome and community-led, head to Club Silly (Bosi) in Brixton for techno, opera singing and an outdoor bonfire, with inda Flo, TSUNIMAN and more.
