Also, there are plenty of free events and secret warehouse parties happening this week (mentioned below), including the Lab x Faded Open Decks this Wednesday. This one is a Back2Back edition.

On Friday, trip-hop legend Tricky makes a rare appearance at Troxy with a live A/V show. If you want something harder, Ellen Allien at FOLD is the obvious move. And for the UK bass heads, Pinch B2B Peverelist at MOT is going to be serious business.

I try not to mention ‘fabric’ unless I really have to, but Francesco Del Garda, James Zabiela, Nicolas Lutz and Binh on one line-up is too strong to ignore this Saturday. Roman Flügel at Palais is another standout, while PINHOLE booking Perc for their third party at The Glove That Fits is a big win for the local promoters. Go there if you like your techno dark and industrial.

Trend alert: DJs who built their names in the underground and went on to wider success are now starting to throw their own nights. Two strong examples this week are Nikki Nair presents World Renowned at Colour Factory and Shanti Celeste and Friends at The Cause.
