I don’t know what’s in the air this week, but London seems to be leaning heavily into disco and house. Maybe peak summer just sounds better with a groove.

Lab.Club x Faded: Open Decks returns this Thursday after a month-long break, although honestly, it feels much longer. If you want to play, grab a DJ ticket in advance, as those tend to go quickly.

On Friday, you’ve got a strong choice between Recondite at Phonox and Pangaea at FOLD if you like your techno deep and heady. If you’re after something lighter, Neil Frances at KOKO is a good indie-dance bet as there’s something about their melodies that feels deeply nostalgic. For a more experimental but still social vibe, I’d head to Mesh:Social, which is slowly becoming a regular fixture from Max Cooper’s label.

On Saturday, the London heads will know to be at Art of Dark’s summer party at FOLD, with an afterparty at Starlane, which is always a legendary combination. Seasoned ravers might prefer Guy J’s extended set of progressive sounds, but my personal pick is Cooking with Palms Trax at The Cause, mostly because I would rarely say no to a chance to see John Talabot.

Sunday is strong again, with Jane Fitz’s Gaffe session already sold out. Activate those RA resale notifications if you want a chance of getting in. Otherwise, choose between Michael Bibi and Seth Troxler at the Old Royal Naval College for some good ol’ tech-house, or get down and gritty with Industrial Dirt at Vespers Club.
