If you’re nursing a long-weekend hangover, I don’t blame you. But rally yourself: May is stacked with secret locations, warehouse venues, and open-air events. Check those out below. Now, on to this week.

If footwork and juke are your thing, R.P. Boo begins a two-day residency at Café OTO starting on Thursday. On Friday, Habibi Funk lands at Village Underground with a deep selection of West Asian and North African funk, jazz, and disco, while techno heavyweights British Murder Boys headline The Cause. And if you fancy mixing left-leaning politics with hedonism, head to The Bath House for the Greens Post-Election Party.

On Saturday, electronic music legends Leftfield play an open-air DJ set at The Fox & Firkin. Kia, Konduku, and Dorisburg bring deep, leftfield techno to Palais, while my personal pick is BHAN at Egg: a no-phone event with a proper raving ethos.
