Hello London,
Last Friday at Lab.Club was incredible. Thank you to everyone who came down and danced with us. Hopefully this is the start of a new chapter where we can support more local underground DJs and promoters. More announcements coming soon.
This week’s picks almost split themselves by day.
Thursday leans dub and bass-heavy, with Start Here and Adventures in Dub both worth a look.
Friday swings towards house. Hoxton Cabal is the shout for deeper, acid-laced sounds, BHAN if you want your night out to support Palestine, and Salotto Sounds for something lighter with a bit more disco in the mix.
Saturday is very techno-heavy. I’m torn between Perc at M.O.T and Or:la & JASS at Palais. If you want something more underground, Ragdoll Rhythms at Planet Wax is a strong pick for a variety of sounds, while Negrūve takes things deeper and more minimal at a secret location.
Sunday is the usual mixed bag. Go hard with UNFOLD, or completely reset with Ambient Sounds and a sauna.
The choice is yours,
Afaan
