Speed Garage has undoubtedly become the sound of 2025, and has been quietly bubbling throughout the underground over the past few years. Whether you rave at House events, Techno, or Drum ‘n’ Bass, the Speed Garage influence is everywhere.

What started originally in the 90s as garage and UKG, the 2025 sound of Speed Garage has taken influencers from bassline, grime, and dubstep.

As you might have guessed, speed garage is high-tempo (140-150 bpm), with sweeping bass, and those long synth sounds we love so much.

Baddest of Them All produced by Interplanetary Criminal & Eliza Rose, is widely regarded as one of the first tunes in recent times to kick off the crave. With IPC being a flagbearer for the genre, teaming up to produce Damager with Sammy Virji in late 2024.
